Acai Berry Smoothie Bowl
Some of you have asked me for a recipe for my smoothie bowls! I hadn't ever written anything down, so here's my attempt at a recipe – please let me know what you think!
Acai Berry Smoothie Bowl Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen berries
- 1 frozen acai packet (or 2 tablespoons powder)
- 1 cup water or non-dairy milk, + more as needed
- Optional: 1 serving protein powder, hemp seeds or nut butter for protein
Toppings:
- fresh berries
- coconut flakes
- chia seeds
- hemp seeds
- goji berries
- granola
Combine ingredients and blend until smooth. Feel free to use any combination of berries: blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, cranberries, and so on! I typically use 3 - 5 different toppings and am always rotating what they are to keep the recipe fun and fresh!
